Identifying ComfreySymphytum Officinale is a tall perennial plant often found in hedgerows around Ireland, the rough, hairy texture of the long lanced leaves is one of the most reliable identifying features, with clusters of drooping, pink or purple bell-shaped flowers - not to be mistaken with foxglove - please always check with a Herbalist before using Comfrey.
