Identifying Comfrey • Symphytum Officinale is a tall perennial plant often found in hedgerows around Ireland, the rough, hairy texture of the long lanced leaves is one of the most reliable identifying features, with clusters of drooping, pink or purple bell-shaped flowers - not to be mistaken with foxglove - please always check with a Herbalist before using Comfrey.

All the herbs for my skincare are homegrown or foraged locally here in north Sligo. I grow from organic seed, hand-harvest, dry & infuse everything by myself! All done with care & intention to ensure each salve is packed full of beneficial ingredients for your skin health.
